About Horizontal Girl

Here’s a little bit about me. I’m a 31-year-old single woman living in a big city in the South. I’ve dated a lot. I’ve also had lots and lots of sexual experience. Some strange, some disappointing, some bizarre, and some just plain wonderful. The Horizontal Chronicles is the place to share those experiences candidly. I promise that every single scenario in this blog is true. As crazy as many of these things sound, they are all experiences that I had with real people. No story or no person is made up all are real people I know with aliases to protect their anonymity.

I’ve been wanting to do a journal-style blog for a long time. Every blog book and conference I go to says the same thing write about what you know. This is what I know.

I’ve been with lots of partners. Through those experiences I’ve learned a lot about sex. This blog is where I share those experiences and that advice.

People think being a good girl means you can’t be a sexual person. I don’t think the two have to be mutually exclusive. I’m a family-oriented, college co-ed, that works two jobs who volunteers and goes to church. My name is H-girl and these are the Horizontal Chronicles.

This won’t  be a Penthouse Forum-style blog with a blow by blow (no pun intended) description of my sex life. I hope to create a community where we can be frank about our loves and vent our frustrations, offer tips, and learn from each other in a safe place.
